I’m an accomplished journalist with 14 years of experience reporting for The Wall Street Journal around the world. I’ve lived in San Francisco, Hong Kong and New Delhi, during which I’ve covered some of the biggest business and cultural stories of our time.

I’ve taken readers inside Silicon Valley's most influential tech companies, investigated the creation of the world’s first gene-edited babies in China—findings that are still cited in research papers and books—and reported from the frontlines of conflict zones and natural disasters. Along the way, I’ve interviewed billionaires, Fortune 500 CEOs and world leaders.

While I've written hundreds of front-page stories, my proudest moments are those that sparked action. My work has shaped business practices, opened government investigations and influenced public opinion. One story, about a young mother with fourth-degree burns, moved readers to raise thousands of dollars for her care. It saved her life.

In 2024, I taught the business reporting program at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and mentored the next generation of storytellers.

Outside work, I'm a certified yoga instructor. I host wellness events that bring people together through movement, meditation and great food. The experience has taught me to lead with empathy, presence and joy.

The same curiosity that drives my reporting also fuels my spirit of exploration. I’ve traveled solo to more than 25 countries, scaled an active volcano and explored the depths of the Indian Ocean to the Caribbean Sea as an advanced scuba diver. Each journey has reinforced our shared humanity and deepened my love for nature.

My mission is the same whether I’m telling stories, building community or bridging borders through travel: To inspire connection, conversation and change.
